I become obsessive/compulsive when it comes to planning a trip. It is hard for me to peel myself away from the computer. I want to find the best deals with the best times/schedules.
Today I began my search for the perfect flight at the perfect cost. I searched Expedia, Orbitz, Hotwire, Continental, British Airways, Cheap Flights, etc. You name it...I looked there. Any suggestions for the best site??
I am also deciding on whether or not I want to lengthen my trip. There might not be another opportunity for me to travel abroad and explore new places.

I GOT IT!!
The letter came in the mail today.....I was awarded a grant by Fund for Teachers, a non profit organization which provides grant money to teachers who want to pursue their own professional development.
I am SOOOO excited!!
In my proposal, I planned a 2 1/2 week excursion through Central Europe, including Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic. The cities I have chosen to visit are Frankfurt, Berlin, Munich, Prague, and Graz.
Of course the typical touristy sites are on my list, but my number one priority is to experience and learn material I will use in my classroom. In order to do this, I plan to visit a number of technology museums, as well as observe school age students in their classroom setting. I am also planning to attend a conference in Prague for educators about the internet and multimedia.
I have only just begun the planning process, but I will be updating my plans as I go.
